A household manager's way of running a cleaning business
Enid Yearwood spent her working life inside houses like these, first as a housekeeper and then as the person who ran one. Chatelaine is the firm she would have wanted the households she worked for to hire.
A chatelaine kept the keys to a great house and answered for how it was run. We kept the name because the job is the same: a key, a schedule, a list, and a person who is responsible for all three. Six of us work in Greenwich, and each house has one lead, whose name you know before the first visit.
