Services
What Chatelaine takes care of
Every service is written into your house card, day by day. Remove what you do not need; we say at the walk-through what we would not do.
- The core
Weekly housekeeping
A standing week: kitchens, bedrooms, baths, stairs and floors, by day, in the same order.
- Beds, laundry, closets
Linens and wardrobe
Beds changed to a schedule, laundry by your fabric rules, ironing, and a linen closet kept counted.
- Seasonal and weekend
Second homes
A house opened before you arrive, kept between visits and closed behind you.
- Book early
Holiday and house-party resets
Rooms made ready before guests, the house put back after them.
Work we pass on
What we do not do
Some jobs need a specialist, or a different kind of crew. We would rather say so at the walk-through.
Clean-ups that need protective gear
Hoarding, mold or biohazard clean-ups
Flood, fire or smoke damage
Anything involving pests
Work with a risk to the crew
Heavy lifting or moving furniture
Chandeliers, high windows or anything above a stable step stool
Roofs, gutters and exteriors
What belongs to the household
Handling cash, papers, medication or jewelry
Pool, lawn and garden care
Boiler, generator and plumbing work
Not sure which of these your house needs?
Enid will say so at the walk-through, and write down only what you ask for.
